Mum would like to know: what on earth is this? looks like a piece of silk material from the 70s, lovely but slightly disconcerting. What is an iphone shadow??? we do not have the right equipment to understand all these newfangled gadgets. Sorry!!!!
No new gadget: just the one you're familiar with. I used my iPhone to try to take a photo of an interesting moonlight shadow in an otherwise unlit room. At first attempt I just got a black photo. So I used a "flashless flash" program that processes photos (don't ask me how!) to simulate having used a flash. I guess the lack of light confused it such that it produced this wonderful colourful pattern that I then simply had to use as my picture of the day.
